Can you complete NCC 2025 reports now?

Is NCC 2025 mandatory for every project?
No. Adoption dates, local variations and transitional arrangements depend on the jurisdiction and project. Ask your certifier or building surveyor to confirm the applicable edition.
Are JV3 and J1V3 the same thing?
JV3 is the older clause reference for this building simulation method. J1V3 is the reference used in recent NCC editions. An assessment must use the requirements of the edition applicable to the project.
Is a NABERS rating a substitute for a Section J report?
A NABERS rating and an NCC compliance assessment serve different purposes. Where a NABERS-based verification pathway is proposed, its eligibility, commitments and evidence requirements need to be checked against the applicable NCC provisions.
Can J1V3 help retain my glazing design?
It can test whether the proposed facade works as part of a compliant building performance solution. The result depends on the complete design and prescribed modelling criteria; compliance cannot be promised before assessment.
